As people are confining themselves to their homes and gardens, catching up on DIY jobs , mowing the lawn and trimming the hedges it brings me to the important issue of hedge cutting. During the months of March through to July our birds are nesting and as a lot of us know our bird population is declining very quickly. The RSPB and other ornithologists ask gardeners to refrain from cutting their hedges to prevent brooding birds abandoning their nests. Please help support our wildlife by not disturbing them with hedgetrimmers or hand shears.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
