Temporary Road Closure at North Leigh, Park Road

A request has been received from Abbeymill Homes for a temporary road closure to apply to a section of Park Road whilst essential laying and connection of drainage pipe works are carried out.

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is being made to implement the temporary closure and will operate from 22 April 2021 up to and including 07 May 2021. This is a 24 hour road closure.

There will be a temporary road closure to a section of Witney Road for essential brick work repairs and water proofing works.

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is being made to implement the temporary closure and will operate from 08 February 2021 up to and including 19th April 2021. This is a 24 hour road closure.

Temporary Road Closure at North Leigh, A4095

 

 

In the interests of public safety it will be necessary for Oxfordshire County Council to close the road as detailed above in order to facilitate resurfacing carriageway and improving signage.

A temporary Notice is being made to implement the temporary closure and will operate from 10 May 2021 up to and including 14 May 2021. This will operate between 19:30 and 06:00.

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Notice is being made to implement the temporary closure and restriction and will operate on the days shown above.

Please note that Notices for urgent works can last up to 5 consecutive days only.

Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and for those frontages within the closure area, subject to the progress of the works and liaison with the works supervisor.

Temporary Road Closure and ''No Waiting'' Restriction at Bladon and Hanborough, A4095 (A44 Woodstock Road/Bladon Road Roundabout to Lower Road, Hanborough)

In the interests of public safety, it will be necessary for Oxfordshire County Council to close the road and impose a ‘No Waiting’ restriction as detailed above to facilitate carriageway patching works.

A temporary Notice is being made to implement the temporary closure and will operate from 15 May 2021 up to and including 19 May 2021. This will operate during 05:00–07:30, 09:30-15:30 and 18:00-20:00

Temporary Road Closure at North Leigh, New Yatt Road, OX29 6TT 

 

 

A request has been received from MKJ Group for a temporary road closure to apply to a section of New Yatt Road whilst essential installation of fibre optic cables works are carried out.

 

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is being made to implement the temporary closure and will operate from 01 June 2021 up to and including 08 June 2021. This is a 24 hour road closure.

(The maximum duration of a TTRO on a road is 18 months and on a footpath is 6 months, or until completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.)

Notice of intention to make the Order will be published in the local press.

Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and for those frontages within the closure area, subject to the progress of the works. Please note that access routes will depend on exactly where the works vehicles are at any time and may need to be negotiated with the gang on site as necessary.

Reduction on Speed on Lower Road

A recent head on collision on Lower Road near the Willow Cottage Nursery has brought the issue of traffic safety on this road into the focus again.  A petition has been created on change.org.
